Sunil is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in Finance and Operations. He manages the firm's finance, investor relations, fund administration, and compliance functions. Previously, he worked at Cirel Systems and Cosmic Circuits. His expertise includes startup finance operations, due diligence, exits, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
I began my career with an MNC and later moved into the startup world with Cosmic Circuits. It was an environment where I naturally took on multiple roles and learnt far beyond any job description. Building and leading the finance function, setting up core processes, controls, reporting, and compliance frameworks, and supporting the company through its acquisition by Cadence Design Systems - to name a few of my best learnings.
I then joined Cirel Systems at its inception as part of the leadership team. Over the next decade, led finance, operations, legal and compliance, and core sales operations - working closely with customers, fabs, and OSAT partners. Being part of Cirel's journey from day one to its acquisition by Micron was a major milestone and validation of the finance and operational foundations built while working closely with the CEO.
Moving into the VC world has been a natural progression. It's given me the opportunity to evaluate companies from the investor's perspective and help founders to build strong finance, operations, and governance practises as they scale, while also managing the fund operations, compliance and investor reporting.
