What made us get on board

India installed 5,400 industrial robots in 2022. All imported. Globally, that number was 553,000. The gap isn't just a statistic; it's a signal.

Manufacturing in India will remain labour-intensive by design. But productivity needs to reach international benchmarks. Robots aren't here to replace jobs—they're here to make Indian manufacturing competitive enough that higher-paying jobs become viable in the first place.

Perceptyne understood this nuance. They're building dexterous, AI-first systems that work alongside human operators in real factory conditions: electronics assembly, automotive manufacturing, packaging. Work that requires human-like precision but doesn't have to remain exclusively human.

What stood out was the full-stack approach. Proprietary manipulators, multi-modal sensing, and AI-led teleoperation built from the ground up. Their PR-34D and PR-9D robots are designed for drop-in deployment—no months of customisation, no army of integration engineers.

The team combines deep robotics experience with a clear understanding of Indian manufacturing constraints: cost sensitivity, power variability, unstructured environments. They're building for the factory floor as it exists, not as a whitepaper imagines it.

Being shortlisted for the Humanoid Robotics Industry Awards 2025 alongside NVIDIA and AgiBot validated what we already believed: world-class technology emerging from India.

We're proud to partner with Perceptyne as they build the automation infrastructure that Indian manufacturing needs to compete globally.
